New Zikinin Granules is a cold medicine effective for symptoms such as cough, fever, and headache associated with colds. It works through the effects of the cough suppressant dihydrocodeine phosphate, the antipyretic analgesic acetaminophen, and the herbal ingredient licorice extract, which has cough-suppressing and expectorant effects. It can be taken by children aged 3 years and older through adults.

Take the following dose within 30 minutes after meals. 15 years and older: 1 packet per dose, 3 times daily. 12 to under 15 years: 2/3 packet per dose, 3 times daily. Under 12 years: Do not administer. Contains the following additives: talc, hydroxypropyl cellulose, D-mannitol,magnesium stearate, cellulose, and sucrose.
1. Do not take this medicine if you fall into any of the following categories: (1) You have ever experienced allergic symptoms due to this medicine or any of its ingredients. (2) You have ever experienced asthma after taking this medicine or other cold medicines, fever reducers, or pain relievers. 2. While taking this medicine, do not use any of the following medicines:Other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, antitussives/expectorants, oral medications containing antihistamines (including oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, allergy medications, etc.) 3. Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this medication.(Drowsiness may occur.) 4. Breastfeeding mothers should not take this medicine, or if taking it, should avoid breastfeeding. 5. Do not drink alcohol before or after taking this medicine. 6. Do not use continuously for long periods.
