Wakamatsu Kampo Constipation Medicine is a formulation based on the Kampo prescription -Ch-igit-,- which is included in the Shanghan Lun, a Chinese medical text considered a classic of Kampo medicine. It provides gentle yet effective relief for both chronic and acute constipation.
Health Advice
Eat a balanced diet. Daily bowel movements are a barometer of health.Avoid overeating and unbalanced diets; strive for well-rounded meals. Especially incorporate vegetables, potatoes, beans, root vegetables, and other foods rich in dietary fiber. Engage in moderate exercise. Take the following dosage twice daily before meals or between meals with water or lukewarm water.Adults (15 years and older) ... 3 tablets per dose, twice daily Children 7 to 14 years old ... 2 tablets per dose, twice daily Children 5 to 6 years old ... 1 tablet per dose, twice daily Children under 5 years old ... Do not administer. When administering to children, ensure it is done under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Each daily adult dose of 6 tablets (300 mg per tablet) contains the following ingredients: Ch-igish-to Extract Powder...1100 mg [Extracted from 2.5 g of rhubarb, 1.0 g of licorice, and 0.5 g of dried sodium sulfate.] Contains the following additives: Magnesium stearate, Cross-linked CMC-Na,silicon dioxide, alpha-modified starch, and cellulose. (1) The rhubarb in this product may cause urine to appear orange or red. (2) Since this product uses extracts from natural substances (herbal medicines), tablet color may vary slightly.
1. Do not take the following medicines while taking this product: Other laxatives 2. Do not take this product if you are breastfeeding. If you must take this product, avoid breastfeeding.
