COVID-19 Antigen Test Kit (For Nasal Swab)
Use this kit for self-testing when concerned about your health. If the result is positive, seek appropriate medical attention.This kit detects the antigen of the novel coronavirus in nasal swab samples by binding antibodies specific to the novel coronavirus on the test kit, which is then confirmed as a line on the kit. (Reading time: 15 minutes) This test is an in vitro diagnostic medical device (over-the-counter drug) approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a general-use test.

Test Preparation- (1) Twist and break off the tab of the extract solution ampoule. Caution: When twisting and breaking off the tab, the extract solution may splash out. Hold the ampoule by its base, not the liquid pool, and twist with the spout facing upward. (2) Hold the extract solution ampoule vertically and add the extract solution to the upper limit line of the specimen extraction container.Caution: Do not add the entire contents. Using too much or too little extraction solution may prevent obtaining accurate results. (3) Place the specimen extraction container with the extraction solution into the specimen extraction container holder. -Specimen Collection (Self-Collection of Nasal Swab Specimen)- (1) Remove the sterile swab from the pouch without touching the tip (cotton ball portion).(2) Slowly insert the sterile swab approximately 2 cm into the nostril. Rotate the swab 5 times along the inner wall of the nose. (3) Slowly remove the swab and repeat the sample collection process in the other nostril using the same swab. Ensure the swab is sufficiently wet after sample collection. Perform sample preparation promptly after collection.(1) Immerse the cotton tip of the swab into the extraction solution. Press it against the tube wall and rotate it at least five times. (2) Then, squeeze the sample out by pressing the cotton tip with your finger from the outside of the sample extraction container. (3) Break the swab shaft at the break point. (4) Securely close the sample extraction container cap and place it in the sample extraction container holder.Caution: Ensure the cap is securely tightened. (1) Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place it on a flat surface. (2) Open the cap of the sample extraction container's dispensing nozzle and dispense 5 drops of sample solution vertically onto the sample application area of the test device. Caution: Do not move the test device until the reaction is complete. Foam formation inside the sample extraction container may cause inaccurate results.If the correct volume cannot be dispensed, the nozzle may be clogged. Gently shake the specimen collection container to clear the clog. (3) After use, close the dispensing nozzle cap on the specimen collection container before disposal. (4) After 15 minutes, observe the test device's result area and interpret the result based on the presence or absence of a line. Do not use a test device for interpretation if more than 20 minutes have passed since the reaction began.
