Sato Oral Ointment is an ointment for stomatitis and glossitis containing sodium azulenesulfonate and glycyrrhetinic acid to suppress inflammation, along with cetylpyridinium chloride hydrate for its excellent antibacterial properties. Its highly adhesive base adheres to and covers the affected area, alleviating pain from food irritation or contact.Sodium azulenesulfonate is a water-soluble form of azulenes, a component of chamomile (a plant native to Europe). It acts directly on mucous membranes to suppress inflammation and accelerate the healing of damaged mucous membranes.
