Surolac S is a constipation medication containing two active ingredients: bisacodyl and calcium senna, which help stimulate sluggish bowel movements and facilitate the smooth passage of accumulated stool.You can adjust the dosage yourself within the range of 1 to 3 tablets depending on your constipation level. The tablets are coated to ensure the active ingredients dissolve in the intestines rather than the stomach, allowing them to work effectively. Advice for Those Prone to Constipation: Establishing a regular bowel movement routine is crucial. Aim to use the toilet at a set time each day for a consistent period.Drink cold water or milk upon waking in the early morning. Take the following single dose once daily before bedtime (or on an empty stomach) with water or lukewarm water. However, start with the minimum dose and gradually increase or decrease it based on bowel movement frequency and condition.- Adults (15 years and older)---1 to 3 tablets per dose- Under 15 years old---Do not administer- Guideline for taking on an empty stomach: Take at least 2 hours after meals.-Precautions Regarding Dosage and Administration-(1) Strictly adhere to the dosage and administration instructions. (2) This medicine is an enteric-coated tablet. Do not chew or crush it; swallow it whole. Also, do not take it simultaneously with antacids or milk.(3) How to remove tablets: Press firmly with your fingertip on the raised part of the PTP sheet containing the tablets to break the aluminum foil backing. Remove and take the tablet. (Swallowing the tablet whole by mistake may cause it to pierce the esophageal mucosa, leading to unexpected accidents.)
