Tears are composed of three layers: the outer oil layer (which prevents tear evaporation), the water layer (rich in oxygen and nutrients), and the mucin layer (which helps tears adhere to the eye's surface).-New Rohto Dry Aid EX- is an ultra-high viscosity eye drop designed with the specific functions of each tear layer in mind. Its highly viscous, approximately 60 times thicker (compared to -V-Rohto-) viscous solution forms a tear film to retain moisture, suppressing tear evaporation and providing excellent relief for dryness and eye fatigue. Apply 1 to 2 drops per instillation, 3 to 4 times daily. -Precautions Regarding Usage and Dosage- (1) When administering to children, ensure it is used under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.(2) Do not allow the tip of the container to touch the eye, eyelid, or eyelashes. [This may cause contamination or foreign matter ingress (such as eye discharge or dust).] Also, do not use if the solution appears cloudy. (3) Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses. (4) Use only as an eye drop.
Sodium chondroitin sulfate ester (corneal protective component) ... 0.5% Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) ... 0.6% Potassium chloride ... 0.02% Sodium chloride ... 0.44% Additives: Sodium hyaluronate, sesame oil,boric acid, borax, L-menthol, bergamot oil, peppermint oil, propylene glycol, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol, polysorbate 80, zinc chloride, and pH adjusters are included as additives.
