Selekonin S is a medication for improving recurrent symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) that contains trimebutine maleate, a gastrointestinal motility regulator.Trimebutine maleate normalizes intestinal motility through its dual action: inhibiting excessive motility and stimulating insufficient motility. This mechanism provides excellent efficacy for all IBS subtypes-diarrhea-predominant, constipation-predominant, or mixed-which are painful intestinal disorders often caused by stress.

Take the following dosage after meals (preferably within 30 minutes) with water or warm water.- Adults (15 years and older): 4 tablets per dose, up to 3 times daily. - 11 to under 15 years: 3 tablets per dose, up to 3 times daily. - 5 to under 11 years: 2 tablets per dose, up to 3 times daily. - Under 5 years: Do not administer.(1) Always follow the prescribed dosage and administration. (2) When administering to children aged 5 years and older, ensure they take the medication under parental supervision to prevent dosage errors or choking on the medication.
