Product Details
Smithrin L Shampoo Type is a topical medication highly effective in eliminating head lice and pubic lice that parasitize humans. There are three types of lice that parasitize humans: head lice, pubic lice, and body lice. They feed on blood from the skin, causing itching and eczema.Head lice are particularly common in outbreaks among nursery school children, kindergarteners, and elementary school students. Please eliminate lice quickly by following the correct usage instructions provided in the [Smithrin L Shampoo Type Q&A] section of this document.Smithrin L Shampoo Type Q&A Q1: What are lice? There are three types of lice that parasitize humans: head lice, pubic lice, and body lice. The lice that cause outbreaks among children are head lice.Head lice parasitize the scalp, feeding on blood and causing itching and rashes. They lay eggs (about 0.5mm) that attach firmly to hair strands, making them relatively easy to spot. The empty egg shells can be mistaken for dandruff, but they stick to the hair and are difficult to remove, helping with identification.Pubic lice primarily parasitize pubic hair, causing intense itching in the genital area. They belong to a different species from head lice and can also parasitize body hair other than pubic hair or head hair. Lice that parasitize humans do not parasitize other animals, and lice that parasitize other animals do not parasitize humans.1. Head lice Body length: 2-4 mm Infection site: Head hair Main transmission routes: Hair contact, shared lockers/clothes baskets, etc. 2. Pubic lice Body length: 1-2 mm Infection site: Primarily pubic hair Main transmission routes: Sexual contact, etc. 3. Body lice Body length: 2-4 mm Infection site: Seams of clothing, etc. 4. Head lice eggs Size: 0.3mm - 0.5mm Q2: How should Smithrin L Shampoo be used correctly? (For use on hair) 1. Pre-wet hair slightly with water or lukewarm water. 2. Using the cap's measurement as a guide, apply approximately 10-20mL (one dose) to the hair. 3. Lather the shampoo thoroughly to ensure it reaches the hairline and is evenly distributed throughout.4. Wrap a towel around your head to prevent the product from entering your eyes, ears, nose, or mouth, and wait for 5 minutes. 5. Thoroughly rinse the product off with water or lukewarm water. You may then use your regular shampoo and conditioner. (If the rinse water or lukewarm water gets on your shoulders or body, rinse it off thoroughly.) 6.Repeat this procedure once daily, every 3 days (every other day), for 3 to 4 times. (You may use regular shampoo and conditioner during this period.) Q3: Why must it be used every 3 days for 3 to 4 times? While a single application kills adult lice and nits, eggs are protected by a shell, so some may survive. However, eggs hatch approximately 7 days after being laid. By repeating the application every other day for 3-4 times (7-10 days), all eggs will hatch during this period. The emerging larvae are killed by repeated use of Smithrin L Shampoo Type while still in the larval stage (before they lay eggs). This ensures no live eggs, larvae, or adults remain.Eggs - approx. 7 days - Nymphs - 7-16 days - Adults - Lifespan approx. 1 month - Q4: How should towels or bedding used to wipe infected areas be disinfected? Towels used to wipe infected areas and other items likely to carry lice should be soaked in water at 60-C (140-F) or higher for at least 5 minutes before washing.Drying them in a hot air dryer is also effective. Vacuum bedding, furniture, and floors frequently to remove any fallen lice. Lice separated from a human host cannot feed on blood and will die within 2-3 days. Additionally, hair containing eggs may be attached.
Apply the following amount to the area infested with lice:Hair: Approximately 10-20 mL per application Pubic hair: Approximately 3-5 mL per application -Usage Instructions- 1. Pre-wet the infested hair or pubic hair with water or lukewarm water. 2. Apply the full amount, shampooing thoroughly to ensure it reaches the hairline and is evenly distributed throughout. 3.
