This antidiarrheal medication, primarily composed of berberine chloride, is effective for diarrhea, food poisoning, waterborne illness, and loose stools.

Take the following dosage three times daily after meals. Adults (15 years and older): 2 tablets per dose, 3 times daily Children 8 years and older but under 15 years: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times daily Children under 8 years: Do not administer [Important Dosage Instructions] When administering to children, ensure it is taken under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.
One daily dose for adults (6 tablets, 298 mg per tablet) contains the following ingredients: Berberine hydrochloride hydrate (Ph. Jap.)...300mg (antidiarrheal (antibacterial, inhibits harmful substance production from intestinal putrefaction and fermentation, suppresses intestinal motility, promotes bile secretion)) Thiamine nitrate (Ph.Eur.) (Vitamin B1)...25mg (Vitamin B1 supplementation) Hawthorn powder...400mg (antidiarrheal via digestive promotion) Additives: Hydroxypropyl cellulose,talc, reduced maltose syrup, cellulose, silicon dioxide, povidone, CMC-Ca, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, acesulfame K, and carnauba wax.
