-Yokukansan Ka Chinpi Hange- is a formula featured in the classical Chinese medical text -Bao Ying Shuo Yao,- considered a cornerstone of Kampo medicine. It is an adaptation of the original -Yokukansan- formula, traditionally used for childhood convulsions and seizures. Based on Japanese clinical experience, the herbal ingredients Hange (Pinellia) and Chinpi (Dried Tangerine Peel) were added to make it suitable for adults as well.It is effective for neurotic conditions with heightened nervousness, insomnia, infantile night crying, and infantile irritability.

Take the following amount three times daily before meals or between meals with water or warm water. Adults (15 years and older) ... 1 sachet per dose, 3 times daily Children 7 years and older but under 15 years ... 2/3 sachet per dose, 3 times daily Children 4 years and older but under 7 years ...1/2 packet per dose, 3 times daily. Under 4 years old, 2 years old and above... 1/3 packet per dose, 3 times daily. Under 2 years old... 1/4 packet or less per dose, 3 times daily. (1) When administering to children, ensure it is taken under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.(2) For infants under 1 year old, prioritize seeking medical care from a doctor and administer only when absolutely necessary.
Each daily adult dose of 3 packets (1 packet = 1.5g) contains the following ingredients: Yokukansan with Chenpi and Hange Extract Powder...2300mg [Extracted from 1.5g each of Angelica root, Cnidium root, Tangerine peel, and Coptis root,S-j-tsu and Bukury- each 2.0g, Hange 2.5g, Saiko 1.0g, Kanzo 0.75g). Contains hydroxypropyl cellulose and lactose as additives. Since this product uses extracts from natural substances (herbal medicines), the color of the granules may vary slightly.
Precautions: Do not administer to infants under 3 months of age.
