- -Sho Seiryu To- is a formula recorded in the -Shang Han Lun,- a Chinese medical text considered a classic of Kampo medicine.- It is effective for colds, allergic rhinitis, and hay fever accompanied by thin, watery phlegm, coughing, and runny nose. Health Advice Rest Your Body To recover quickly from a cold, get plenty of sleep and keep your body at rest. Also, aim for nutritionally balanced meals to build up your strength. Pay Attention to Ventilation Polluted air can trigger coughing.Even when using heating, open windows periodically to exchange stale air for fresh air. Also be mindful of low humidity. Keep warm. When you have a cold, easy-to-digest foods like rice porridge or warm milk are suitable. Drinking ginger tea is also one way to warm your body.

Take the following dosage twice daily before meals or between meals with water or warm water. - Adults (15 years and older) ... 1 packet per dose, 2 times daily - Children 7 to under 15 years old ... 2/3 packet per dose, 2 times daily - Children 4 to under 7 years old ...1/2 packet per dose, twice daily - Children aged 2 to under 4 years old: 1/3 packet per dose, twice daily - Children under 2 years old: 1/4 packet per dose, twice daily (1) When administering to children, ensure it is taken under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.(2) For infants under 1 year old, prioritize seeking medical care from a doctor and administer only when absolutely necessary.
The daily adult dosage of 2 packets (1 packet = 2.25g) contains the following ingredients:Sho Seiryu To Extract (3/4 dose)---3900mg (Extracted from 2.25g each of Ma Huang, Peony Root, Cinnamon Bark, Licorice Root, Cinnamon Twig, Bupleurum Root, and Schisandra Berry, and 4.50g of Hange.) Contains hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose, and polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol as additives. Since this product uses extracts from natural substances (herbal medicines), the color of the granules may vary slightly.
Precautions: Do not administer to infants under 3 months of age.
