- -Reigetsukanto- is a representative formula recorded in the classical Chinese medical texts -Shanghan Lun- and -Jingui Yaolue,- considered cornerstones of Kampo medicine. It is used to treat various symptoms caused by water toxicity.In Kampo medicine, water toxicity refers to symptoms caused by excessive fluid retention in the stomach, poor fluid regulation leading to low urine output, uneven distribution of bodily fluids, and metabolic abnormalities. This water toxicity is considered a major cause of neurosis, headaches, unsteadiness, dizziness, shortness of breath, and palpitations.- Effective for neurosis, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, and headaches in individuals experiencing dizziness, unsteadiness, and occasionally hot flashes or palpitations. Health Advice: Sweat it out with moderate exercise. Morning and evening walks or light calisthenics-moving your body within your capabilities is important.Moving your body and sweating not only strengthens muscles and joints but also helps relieve a gloomy mood. Be mindful of excessive fluid intake. Eating ice cream even in winter, habitually drinking juice or tea even when not thirsty-excessive fluid intake disrupts the body's overall balance. Avoid consuming large amounts of cold liquids at once; instead, take small sips gradually.

Take the following dosage three times daily before meals or between meals with water or warm water. - Adults (15 years and older) ... 1 packet per dose, 3 times daily - Children 7 to under 15 years ... 2/3 packet per dose, 3 times daily - Children 4 to under 7 years ...1/2 packet per dose, 3 times daily - Children aged 2 to under 4 years old: 1/3 packet per dose, 3 times daily - Children under 2 years old: 1/4 packet per dose, 3 times daily (1) When administering to children, ensure it is taken under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.(2) For infants under 1 year old, prioritize seeking medical care from a doctor and administer only when absolutely necessary.
