Cough and phlegm occur with illnesses like colds affecting the throat and bronchial tubes. New Contac Cough Relief Double Long-Lasting is formulated to be effective even for coughs with phlegm.The non-narcotic cough suppressant dextromethorphan hydrobromide hydrate suppresses coughing, while diprophylline widens constricted bronchi to open airways. This suppresses coughing and makes it easier to expel phlegm.This capsule contains a multi-layer granule (-Double Layer Action- - dissolves quickly, lasts longer) where a fast-release layer (dissolves first) coats the slow-release granule (dissolves later). Taking one capsule provides approximately 12 hours of sustained effect.

Dosage and Administration-Take the following single dose with water or hot water without chewing. Adults (15 years and older): 1 capsule per dose, twice daily (morning and evening) Children under 15 years: Do not administer -Precautions Regarding Dosage and Administration-How to remove the capsule: Press firmly with your fingertip on the raised part of the PTP sheet containing the capsule to break the aluminum foil backing. Remove the capsule and take it. (Swallowing the capsule whole by mistake may cause it to pierce the esophageal mucosa or lead to other unexpected accidents.)
Each 2 capsules (daily dose) contains the following ingredients: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide hydrate (non-narcotic cough suppressant) ... 60 mg (suppresses the cough center to relieve coughing.(Not a narcotic, therefore non-habit forming)) Dipropylin (bronchodilator) ... 200 mg (Expands constricted bronchi, suppresses coughing, and facilitates expectoration.) Additives: Gelatin, talc, corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate,Ethylcellulose, Octyldodecyl triglyceride, Glycerol fatty acid ester, Sucrose fatty acid ester, White sugar, Macrogol, Anhydrous silica
1. Do not take this medicine if you have ever experienced allergic symptoms caused by this medicine or any of its ingredients.2. While taking this medicine, do not use any of the following medicines: Other cough suppressants/expectorants, cold medicines, sedatives, or oral medicines containing antihistamines (such as oral medicines for rhinitis, motion sickness medicines, allergy medicines, etc.). 3. Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this medicine (drowsiness may occur).
