Product Details
This product is based on the Kampo formula -Daio-kanzo-to,- which combines the main ingredient rhubarb (a crude drug) with licorice. It regulates colon movement and promotes natural bowel movements. Taking it before bedtime helps achieve gentle, natural bowel movements the following morning. It uses -Shinshu Rhubarb,- cultivated domestically and developed through our company's research.Licorice enhances the effects of Shinshu Daio, promoting gentle bowel movements. It also alleviates abdominal bloating and flatulence associated with constipation. The tablets are yellow with a score line. Advice for Relieving Constipation For Those Wanting to Cure Constipation: Long-term use of laxatives tends to lead to a need for increasing doses over time. To reestablish regular bowel habits, pay attention to the following:1. Establish a bowel habit. Go to the toilet at a fixed time once a day (after breakfast is optimal). Do not suppress the urge to defecate. 2. Strengthen your abdominal muscles. Strengthen your abdominal muscles through abdominal massage, twisting exercises, swimming, etc., to make defecation easier. 3. Pay attention to your diet. Dosage and Administration-Take the following dose once daily before bedtime with water or hot water, without chewing.15 years and older: Mild constipation (no bowel movement for 2-3 days): 1 to 3 tablets; Severe constipation (no bowel movement for 4 days or more): 2 to 4 tablets 5 to 14 years: Mild constipation (no bowel movement for 2-3 days): 1/2 to 1 1/2 tablets; Severe constipation (no bowel movement for 4 days or more): 1 to 2 tablets Under 5 years:Do not administer. Tablets have a break line; adjust dosage based on bowel movement response, increasing by half a tablet or one tablet at a time (up to the maximum amounts above) or decreasing as needed.-Precautions Regarding Dosage and Administration-(1) When administering to children, do so under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian. (2) Strictly adhere to the dosage and administration instructions. (3) The following individuals should take a reduced dose: Those in poor physical condition, women during menstruation. (4) Start with the lowest dose for the first administration. (5) Once bowel movement improves, reduce the dose and increase the interval between doses.
